How to get HM ores in Calamity? ›

The first time you break an altar, the game spawns ore from the first tier. The second time you break an altar, the game spawns ore from the second tier. The third time, the game spawns ore from the third tier. By the fourth, it wraps back around to the first tier and so on.

The Crystyl Crusher's beam can destroy Astral Ore before Astrum Deus has been defeated. Only the initial astral meteorite impact will convert existing ore into Astral Ore, and subsequent meteor drops, Star Struck Water, and Astral Solution will not convert Pre-Hardmode ores into Astral Ore.

Like other Hardmode ores, Palladium is generated upon destruction of an Altar with a Pwnhammer, it is immune to all types of explosions and requires at least a Molten Pickaxe to mine. It can also be obtained from Crates.

Filling in caves with spare natural blocks such as dirt before destroying altars can cause Hardmode ores to spawn in them. They can then also be seen on the minimap, presenting an easy way to convert extra blocks into ores with knowing their exact location.

The Platinum Pickaxe is an early-game pickaxe that is stronger than the Silver and Tungsten Pickaxes. Compared to its alternate ore version, the Gold Pickaxe, it has more pickaxe power, deals 1 more damage, and is slightly faster in terms of mining speed.

Even though Gold and Platinum Ore (and Bars) are of nearly equal sell value, 1 Platinum Coin is worth 100 Gold Coins. This is likely because Platinum Ore and Bars were added after Platinum Coins, and also is a reflection to the real-world metals (in this case, platinum would be the higher rank).

16-28 Cryonic Ores can be obtained from Frozen and Boreal Crates at a 20% drop chance after Cryogen and two mechanical bosses have been defeated. Cryonic Ore cannot be destroyed by explosives, even after Cryogen has been defeated.

tModLoader Legacy players have the highest amount of pickaxe power of 230% using the Laser Drill.

Astrum Deus does not spawn on its own and can be summoned by using the Astral Beacon with a Titan Heart or Starcore in the inventory at night. Astrum Deus can be spawned even in early Hardmode with Titan Hearts, but the boss is intended to be fought after the Lunatic Cultist has been defeated.

Hallowed Ore is a Hardmode ore that generates in Pearlstone Blocks, Hardened Pearlsand Blocks, Pearlsandstone Blocks, and Pink Ice Blocks after all three Mechanical Bosses have been defeated. As such, it predominantly generates in the Underground Hallow biome.

How to get uelibloom Ore in calamity? ›

16-28 Uelibloom Ores can be obtained from Jungle and Bramble Crates at a 20% drop chance after Providence has been defeated. Although it is most commonly found in the Underground Jungle due to its high amount of mud, it can generate in mud patches anywhere in the world.

The Calamity Mod makes heavy adjustments to the progression of Hardmode, removing many restrictions on the order in which bosses must be fought, and also (if the Early Hardmode Progression Rework configuration option is enabled) changing the obtainment method of early-Hardmode ores and Hallowed Bars.

The Luminite Ore is dropped from the Moon Lord. It's the rarest ore in the game, and is used in crafting the final suits of armor. Ore is used to make Luminite Bar.

Every world has either iron or lead, but never both. You can also use lead for chains/sawmills/anvils etc. Why the devs went for this, I dunno. I'd have preferred having all metals on a single map, for a variety of reasons.

You must use a pickaxe or drill with at least 200% pickaxe power to get Chlorophyte Ore. Chlorophyte Ore is only found in Hardmode in Underground Jungles. The ore will slowly spread to nearby tiles as long as it's under the Underground level.
