The VP, Business Transformation will report directly to the SVP, Head of Transformation, evolving strategy around organization design and transformation in alignment with the growth objectives of the organization. This role will partner with leadership across Fortitude Re, primarily in non-Finance functions, to lead transformation initiatives through management of technology, process improvements, and organizational design. This role will be based in our Jersey City office on a hybrid basis.
What You Will Do:
Work with the SVP, Head of Transformation, to determine the mandate and roadmap for this new team, including establishing key performance indicators to measure transformation success.
Engage and work with cross-functional teams to identify process inefficiencies and design impactful solutions including systems development, process optimization and organizational change.
Manage end to end project execution of key strategic change projects by managing strategies, implementation plans and delivery for transformation initiatives.
Utilize and enhance existing change management framework to drive adoption of transformation initiatives, focusing on clear and transparent communication and ensuring stakeholders understand the value achieved through transformation initiatives.
Work collaboratively across the other Transformation pillars (Finance and Data Science Transformation) to leverage specific capabilities across the team.
Escalate key transformation execution risks, including identifying and executing mitigating actions.
Recruit, manage and develop a high-performing transformation team that may include both internal and external team members. Set clear expectations for success, provide regular feedback, and foster a culture of empowerment.
What You Will Have:
Bachelor's degree
10+ years of experience in managing transformation, change management, and strategic project management.
Experience managing and designing solutions to complex transformational needs.
Ability to analyze data sets and provide actionable insights.
Possess excellent communications, interpersonal and collaboration skills.
Ability to understand and manage stakeholders' expectations.
The base salary range for this role is listed below and will be commensurate with candidate experience. Pay ranges for candidates may differ based on the cost of labor in that location. In addition to base salary, all employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on company and individual performance as well as a generous benefits package.
Base Salary Range
$190,000 — $230,000 USD
