Eggless Mayonnaise Recipe (1)Eggless Mayonnaise is one of the easiest things to make at home. The homemade version is not only tasty but also healthy as we are making it using curd. I have added some cream but you can skip that to make it healthier.Eggless Mayonnaise Recipe (2)

I have got this recipe from my Aunt in law (Sangeeta Chachiji) who makes it quite often. When I tasted it for the first time I could not believe that it was homemade. Once you taste homemade Mayonnaise you will never buy it from a store. It tastes so fresh and we can even add herbs of our choice.

You can use this in sandwiches, burgers, and burritos. As thisdoesn’ttake much effort and has a short shelf life, it is best to prepare it in small quantities. You can add the herbs directly to the mayonnaise or add them later while using it to keep the flavors fresh.

HI Shelly. Olive oil adds health quotient and make it spreadable. if you do not eat olive oil you can try without that also.

Can you please explain what is hung curd? Where can I get it or how can I make it for this recipe? Thank you.

Just tie the regular curd in a muslin cloth and hang it for 2-3 hours so that only thick curd remains and all the water is drained.

Beta, you could have also used white pepper in place of black pepper….so the colour of Mayonnaise remain intact….photographs are very tempting….translated and posted by youngest brother-in-law 😛
